Meeting Akelaide: continued...

Dialogue between Akelaide and Melody.

Melody looked quizzically at the glass Akelaide was offering her. The liquid was a soft, murky brown, and Akelaide was giving her a creepy grin.
“What’s this?” She was still very confused. “Is this some kind of poison or...” Akelaide’s grin got a lot creepier.
“I read on your phone that it was a delicacy to you modern folk. I think it was-” Melody flipped out.
“You were in my phone? But how? It’s kind of password locked! You couldn’t have-” Akelaide cut into her statement quickly.
“Sorry, but I just have a talent for guessing passwords.” She shrugged. “It’s nothing bad. Come on. Take this. I’ve been holding it for five whole minutes now.”
“Okay, but I still don’t know what it is.” Akelaide rolled her eyes.
“It’s called talk-a-lot silt. It’s really good! See? Even I can drink it.” She took a sip. “Yum.”
“Wait. Don’t you mean chocolate milk?” Melody laughed. “Yeah. I’ll take it. Thanks, Sis.”

Meeting Akelaide

Yay! November is over, which means bye-bye to NaNoWriMo (which is totally awesome, by the way, so you should totally do it) and say hello to a new character.                                                                                                        Meet Akelaide, a totally crazy old-timey kind of girl who is kind of a werewolf. She has a human twin, named Melody. Akelaide has wolf-like features and sometimes attitude, but she doesn't just go all haywire at the sight of a full moon. She has most control over her powers, but they can betray her at the worst possible moment.                                                     Her little odd perk is that both she and all of her family have an interesting history of having Anetidaephobia, the fear of being looked at by a duck. You just gotta love her when you read this dialogue in the next post.
